First-person kitchen prep, 30-minute continuous
About this task
We're collecting continuous, first-person video of meal preparation in a home kitchen, end to end — from ingredient retrieval through plating. Single-take footage only; no edits, no fast-forward.
This task feeds a household-action pretraining set. Diversity in kitchens, dishes, and contributors is the point. There is no required cuisine.
Standard operating procedure
Read the SOP document end to end before recording. Failing to follow the SOP is the most common reason for rejection.
What to capture
Each clip must include footage matching all four reference frames below. Frames out of order are acceptable.
Requirements
| Resolution | Minimum 1920×1080 at 30fps. 4K accepted, not required. |
| Mount | Chest or head mount. No handheld; no static tripod. |
| Duration | Continuous 25–35 minutes per clip. Cuts disqualify the clip. |
| Lighting | Daylight or warm interior. Avoid backlit kitchen windows. |
| Audio | Ambient only. No commentary, no music. |
| Privacy | No identifiable third parties on camera. Faces of other household members must be off-frame. |
Compensation
Each approved clip pays an upfront fee on settlement. If this task is non-exclusive, all contributors share an ongoing royalty pool — 80% of future Market license revenue splits proportionally across everyone who recorded clips for this task.
